Rain

When the deluge hit San Francisco back in March, taking mass transit reminded me of all those days at school hanging on a wet corner waiting for the bus. At least the school bus actually showed up on time. Grrr.

Oh yeah, in case you couldn't tell, I colored this sucker in Illustrator just to mix things up a bit. Maybe next post I'll draw something that doesn't involve a dude with a circle head. Given that the next sketchcrawl is this weekend, that is highly likely.

Thanks for swinging by and leavin' the good words guys.

crillustration Thank you. Back when I had to wait for a school bus, I was going to school on the east coast in Virginia. Hope that answers your question.

da ghost prod If it is the same kid, perhaps the dancing incident prompted his new overly protective footwear.

Xenos My bad, I was thinking of this past March, not last month. It's been nothing but alternating days of "damn hot" and "damn foggy" lately. Thanks, I edited the post accordingly.

That kid looks pissed. And rightly so. Great job on the rainy feeling. Enjoy Sketchcrawl!

I like your glum little character and especially the little splashes on his head.
And I really, really liked your dance animation!
Nice movement on the puncho!

I'm with you...that six months of nothing but rain was the worst. I've been in the same situation as this guy many, many times.

Fantastic pic.
